Meet Mattea
Mattea – Director & Senior Dietitian
Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Master of Public Health, Graduate Diploma in Counselling (in progress)
Hi, I’m Mattea…
I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 10 years of experience, a Master of Public Health, and currently furthering my studies in counselling. My journey has shown me that nourishing your body is about so much more than just food—it’s about mindset, mental health, and the way we connect with ourselves.
I’m passionate about helping people break free from diet culture and all the confusion that comes with it—fad diets, food rules, calorie counting, the scale. Instead, I support you to build a positive, balanced relationship with food and your body.
My own experiences with coeliac disease, sport, and healing from an eating disorder have shaped how I practise today. I know what it feels like to struggle with food, and I also know the freedom and peace that comes from learning to truly nourish yourself.
At Mind & Body Adelaide, I combine nutrition science with counselling-informed support, focusing on the health of your whole body and mind. My goal is to help you feel empowered, confident, and at peace with food—while enjoying it along the way.
I believe in an individualised, compassionate approach: I’ll listen to your story, understand your goals, and walk beside you every step of the way.
If you’re ready to move away from restriction and into nourishment and trust—I look forward to meeting you 🙂
