Your Guide

I’m Mattea; a dietitian turned mindset and wellbeing coach, Ironman finisher, and storyteller.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I’ve walked through difficult seasons, including surviving domestic violence, navigating grief and major life transitions, and learning what it truly means to slow down and rebuild from the inside out.

Over the years, I’ve worked with women in clinical, community, and private practice settings, supporting health, nutrition, and wellbeing. But what I’ve learned — both personally and professionally — is that real change doesn’t come from doing more or fixing yourself. It comes from creating safety, self-trust, and space to reconnect with who you are.

Becoming Her was created to offer that space.

I bring compassion, curiosity, and real-world wisdom into my work, helping women navigate emotional challenges, build confidence, and create lives that feel calmer, healthier, and more aligned. My approach is gentle, practical, and deeply human because becoming “her” isn’t about becoming someone new, it’s about coming home to yourself..

    I have learnt so much from the Nutrition and Mindset program. It has helped me so much with my binge eating and the understanding of having a balanced diet and a freedom of food! I used to stress so much about my eating and it controlled me everyday, and the aftermath of that is I would try to be “healthy” (restricting any sort of sugar) and then immediately give up and binge eat. But now I can eat anything I want without guilt, and I feel comfortable in my body. I have also improved my gut health, after assessing my diet and realising I needed more fruit and vegetables. I’m so glad I completed this program , I feel so content with my eating now!!”

    I have been following the plan and I would say my energy has been better, I have been training well, strength has increased (made my coach laugh a few times when he kept adding the weights).     I told my doctor I then got input from Mattea to increase my carbohydrates to reduce my craving for food just before I go to bed. The input from you has increased my energy - from eating more carbohydrates and more fruit, it stopped the night time cravings
